Diamond Eternity Engagement Rings

Posted on:  March 4th, 2010

When someone talks about eternity rings many of us associate the giving of such a ring not as a signifier of engagement but of a special marriage anniversary or after the birth of a child. However, it is becoming increasingly common for women to receive eternity rings as engagement rings or wedding rings due to the sophistication and beauty of the diamonds.

Due to the nature of eternity rings they are normally sparkling with numerous diamonds, which is why they have become a stunning choice for engagement rings. Eternity rings typically come as either “Full” or “Half” which basically means that a full eternity ring has diamonds encrusted around the entire ring with half eternity rings having half of the ring covered in sensational diamonds.

Diamond eternity rings are very versatile; many people may opt to use them simply for what they are, as a symbol of eternity; some people now opt for an eternity ring as opposed to the traditional plain gold band of wedding rings; and some opt for the eternity ring as their engagement ring. To provide even more dazzle these types of eternity rings also come in the larger format adding an extra touch of class to their larger diamond engagement or wedding rings. As with all engagement rings the choice varies entirely with each individuals taste; but diamond eternity rings should definitely be a contender if diamonds are you or your partner’s best friend.

Here at Marlows Certified Diamonds we offer the most exquisite eternity rings and whether your choice of an eternity ring is for your wife or your fiancée-to-be with the sparkling beauty of diamonds you can’t go far wrong!

Simply diamonds

Posted on:  October 20th, 2009

It is a simple fact that a woman wants more than one diamond in her life. Everyone is quite conversant with the traditional diamond engagement ring. Yes, women do love diamond engagement rings and accept them with gratitude. That is not the only diamond in a woman’s life though. Think about it for a moment; a diamond is the perfect gift when a young woman graduates from university.

Nothing can be more beautiful than a diamond pendant or a pair of diamond earrings for a 21st birthday celebration gift to mark this special date. Then there comes the day she becomes engaged. A diamond engagement ring is the most appropriate for that.

Then follows a diamond wedding ring to seal her vows to her beloved. Each step in the life of a woman can be marked perfectly with a diamond. There is the diamond eternity ring when a man shows how much he appreciates his wife. A diamond can mark the celebration of a much-wanted child’s birth or as a special gift for an anniversary.

Signposts of a life well spent

It is clear to see that there is a diamond too that is suitable to mark each milestone in the life of a woman and each occasion that is truly special to her. We understand the need that women have for different diamonds.

That is why we strive to bring our clients the perfect diamond gifts to mark each occasion with a diamond set in yellow gold, white gold or platinum. The guarantee of quality and authenticity we give is the fact that each diamond we sell is a certified diamond.

Take it to the next level

Posted on:  September 3rd, 2009

So much has been written about it. Wars have been fought for it; friends have become enemies because of it. Throughout the ages love has always been one of the most significant experiences of humanity.

From the days of old when two were betrothed to be married, they wore a necklace or item of cloth to identify that they were intended – to more modern times with engagement rings – what has always remained true is that sacred promise the item stands for.

As times have changed and we’ve developed more expensive and classy tastes for our choice of item, the engagement ring has become the symbol that most cultures use to signify this fantastic step in the relationship.

Love need not cost you a fortune

Here at Marlows, we understand that when taking that next pivotal step, one needs to be really prepared. Our range and style of rings means that there is a wide variety to choose from.

You focus on setting the scene and we will take care of your engagement ring. Marlows has been trusted for years by hundreds of satisfied and happy couples in love. And when you’re ready to take it further, we’ll be here with a diamond ring just for you and your special occasion.

The symbol of eternity

Posted on:  September 2nd, 2009

Rings have always had a certain allure and meaning throughout the ages. In the days of old, Kings would wear rings as a sign of power and authority; those rings would bear the seal of the King and his particular Kingdom.

For as long as men have been mining the riches out of the earth, we’ve found ways to decorate ourselves with these precious metals. Rings are one of the ways that we show off – to an extent – our wealth prowess.

Professional athletes who win a major tournament are rewarded with rings which represent that they have won the ultimate tournament in that specific sport. Rings have and always will be a very popular fashion accessory amongst people and they’re here to stay.

The symbol for commitment

When a couple decide to spend the rest of their lives together in marriage, the one true symbol that is often used at weddings to signify the commitment of the couple to each other are rings. The circular shape of the rings has been said to signify eternity, as it has no beginning and no ending.

That is a very romantic ideal but, nonetheless, rings have been – and remain to this day – the most popular choice for weddings because of their symbolism. Whatever your ring needs, you will find that at Marlows we have a huge selection that caters for most of today’s needs and extra.

Our brilliant pricing and wide selection means that clients have been shopping with us for years and are happy with our services. There is no need too unique that we cannot fit the bill. So give Marlows a call for all your ring needs.

Diamonds for your ears

Posted on:  May 14th, 2009

A diamond is a true token of love and diamond earrings are a much favoured gift. They are easy to choose and easy to wear, having a sparkling diamond adorning each ear is sufficient for most women – whatever their outfit or the occasion.

Marlows’ diamond earrings come in all shapes and sizes, in yellow or white gold or in platinum settings.  What they all have in common is that they contain high quality diamonds in cuts designed to enhance their natural brilliance.

A popular setting is a teardrop design which boasts a trio of diamonds, each one cut in the shape of a teardrop, making these earrings much sought after.  This style allows each diamond to dangle freely so that light passes through each diamond allowing for maximum brilliance.

Another sought after style is the solitaire setting which shows off the simplicity and beauty of the diamond without any extra embellishment.  This type of setting also allows the maximum amount of light to pass through the diamonds resulting in sparkle and compliments.  Another simple setting is that of the emerald cut diamond earring which will ensure you own something that is both unusual and very stylish.

Earrings containing a princess cut diamond give the wearer a piece of jewellery that is both stylish and contemporary which will remain in vogue for many years to come.

Of course the size, or carat of the diamond plays an important role and any of these styles can accommodate diamonds of varying sizes, from a 0.40 carat stone right up to the breathtaking 1 carat diamond stones all held securely in sturdy settings which are designed in a way that won’t detract from their beauty.

How to choose an eternity ring

Posted on:  March 23rd, 2009

There’s nothing that says I Love You Forever more than a diamond eternity ring. It is an expression of how much your wife or girlfriend means to you that they can look at every day. When that twinkle catches the light, your “other half” will remember that you love her as much as ever, and even more with each passing year. Some people believe an eternity ring is a chance for a husband to buy the ring that he wished he could afford when asking his wife to marry him!

So choosing something that means so much can be a challenge. That’s where we can help.

Firstly, do you want a half eternity, where stones show at the front of the ring but not the back, or a full eternity ring, with diamonds all the way around the band? This will be partly decided by taste and budget, but most people will choose the full eternity simply because the ring is meant to be a symbol of never-ending love, continuous and unbroken, which a full shank of diamonds more strongly suggests.

Then, which metal would she prefer?  If she has a gold wedding band or other gold jewellery that she wears daily, then stick with like metals, and the same for white gold or platinum, as the rings ideally complement each other.

Bringing a photograph into the store which shows your wife’s wedding band and engagement ring can also sometimes help to match a style that will mean she will treasure her eternity ring forever.
